2. One 96-well plate precoated with anti-human CST6 Ab
3. Sample diluent buffer: 12 mL x 1
4. HRP conjugated anti-Human CST6 Ab: 1 vial, dilution 1:1000.
5. Detection Antibody diluent buffer: 12 mL x 1
6. 20 x Wash Solution: 25 ml x 1.
7. TMB color developing agent A: 6 ml.

Background
The cystatin superfamily is a well-established family of cysteine protease Inhibitors. Cystatin M/E (CST6) is a nonredundant, epithelium-specific protease inhibitor with a presumed role in epidermal differentiation and tumor suppression. It is restricted to the stratum granulosum of normal skin, the stratum granulosum/spinosum of psoriatic skin, and the secretory coils of eccrine sweat glands. Low expression levels are found in the nasal cavity.
