NovaTeinBio is a biological reagents provider located in the greater Boston area. Our scientific team is a group of scientists with extensive experience and expertise in protein biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology. We offer our own recombinant proteins, antibodies, ELISA kits as well as distributing products from other suppliers. Our products cover a growing variety of ELISA kits, proteins, peptides, antibody products. In the meantime, we provide best services in the area of expression vector cloning, protein expression, protein purification, etc.
Currently, NovaTeinBio is growing rapidly. Our excellent facilities allow us to effectively implement and fully develop any program we adopt. Novatein Biosciences assists customers in rapidly developing, manufacturing and commercializing ELISA assays for many market segments. We develop products for markets as broad as biomedical research and microbiology and operate under design controls and GMP as required.
We are seeking a Scientist who will be responsible for research and development of products from feasibility through clinical trials and transfer to manufacturing. This position will collaborate with outside chemistry, engineering and manufacturing groups to research and develop markers, reagents, formulations and processes.
Duties:
Will collaborate with outside chemistry, engineering and manufacturing groups to research and develop markers, reagents, formulations and processes. Requires a highly motivated scientist with project management experience and an outstanding ability to design and conduct robust and efficient experiments to solve difficult technical problems. The ability to work independently and oversee the work of 1-2 research assistants is desired. The position requires the ability to work accurately, efficiently and swiftly in a small, fast-paced lab. Candidate must have a strong desire to bring products to market. MS or BS in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, bioengineering or related field and a minimum of 5 years related work experience. Experience with fluorescence-based immunoassays like TR-FRET and FP is required.

Protein Production Specialist (Job code: NVP-103)
Duties:
We are seeking candidates for a scientist-level position in our Protein Production group. This position will utilize existing high-throughput technologies for cloning, protein expression and purification. The successful candidate will also develop new technologies within the group, including methods for HT antibody purification. Consistent, proven ability to generate creative solutions for existing and new development projects is highly preferred.
Required skills:
M.S. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related life science field with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
Expertise in PCR, molecular cloning, sequence analysis and expression/purification in both microbial and mammalian systems.
