Description AHA1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 320 amino acids (19-337) and having a molecular mass of 36.1 kDa.
Protein Background AHA1 is a cochaperone that stimulates hsp90 ATPase activity. AHSA1 binds the middle domain of Hsp90 (amino acid 272-627) and functions as an ATPase-activating protein that competes with p23 and other co-chaperones for Hsp90 binding.AHA1 affects a step in the endoplasmic reticulum to golgi trafficking.
Expression host Escherichia Coli.
Synonyms AHSA1, ACA1, p38, C14orf3, Activator of HSP90 ATPase-1.
Reagent Appearance Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Stability Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
