Description RQCD1 Human Recombinant fused with a 20 amino acid His tag at N-terminus produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 319 amino acids (1-299 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 35.7kDa. The RQCD1 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Protein Background RQCD1 is a novel transcriptional cofactor which mediates retinoic acid-induced cell differentiation. RQCD1 down-regulates MYB- and JUN-dependent transcription and may have a role in cell differentiation. RQCD1 also has a role in retinoic acid-controlled lung development.
Expression host Escherichia Coli.
Synonyms Cell differentiation protein RCD1 homolog, Rcd-1, RQCD1, RCD1, CNOT9, CT129, RCD1+.
Reagent Appearance Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Stability RQCD1 should be stored desiccated below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
