2. One 96-well plate precoated with anti-Rat TPO antibody.
3. Assay diluent buffer: 6 ml
4. HRP conjugated anti-Rat TPO antibody: 10 ml.

6. 20 x Wash buffer: 25 ml.

Background
Thrombopoietin is a glycoprotein hormone produced mainly by the liver and thekidney that regulates the production of platelets by the bone marrow. It stimulates the production and differentiation of megakaryocytes, the bone marrow cells that fragment into large numbers of platelets.
