Data sheet

Formulation The POLD4 solution (0.25mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.2M NaCl, 40% glycerol and 2mM DTT.
Purity Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Description POLD4 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 130 amino acids (1-107) and having a molecular mass of 14.8kDa.POLD4 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Protein Background Polymerase Delta 4 also known as POLD4 is the smallest subunit of DNA polymerase delta. DNA polymerase delta which takes a vital part in DNA replication and repair possesses both polymerase and 3' to 5' exonuclease activity. POLD4 increases the activity of DNA polymerase delta and takes a part in fork repair and stabilization during interactions with the DNA helicase Bloom syndrome protein. POLD4 contributes to PCNA-dependent activity of DNA polymerase delta.
Expression host Escherichia Coli.
Synonyms DNA polymerase delta subunit 4, p12, POLDS, DNA polymerase delta subunit p12, POLD4, Polymerase Delta 4.
Reagent Appearance Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Stability Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
