Formulation |
PLGF-2 protein was lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered solution in HCl. |
Solubility |
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized PLGF2 at 200ug/ml in PBS, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. |
Purity |
Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE. |
Description |
PLGF2 Human Recombinant (19-170 a.a.) produced in CHO is a disulfide-linked homodimeric, glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 152 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 33kDa.The PLGF-2 Human Recombinant protein is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. |
Protein Background |
PLGF is a growth factor active in angiogenesis, and endothelial cell growth, stimulating their proliferation and migration. It binds to receptor vegfr-1/flt1.PLGF-2 binds neuropilin-1 and 2 in a heparin-dependent manner. |
Expression host |
Chinese Hamster Ovary cells (CHO). |
Synonyms |
PIGF, PGF, PlGF-2, PLGF-2. |
Reagent Appearance |
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. |
Stability |
Lyophilized PLGF-2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution PLGF2 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles. |
