Description |
PAEP Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 185 amino acids (19-180a.a) and having a molecular mass of 21kDa. PAEP is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. |
Protein Background |
Progesterone-Associated Endometrial Protein (PAEP) is a member of the kernel lipocalin super family whose members share rather low sequence similarity but have highly conserved exon/intron structure and three-dimensional protein folding. Most lipocalins are clustered on the long arm of chromosome 9. PAEP protein has been previously referred to as pregnancy-associated endometrial alpha-2-globulin, placental protein 14, and glycodelin. |
Expression host |
E.coli. |
Synonyms |
GD, GdA, GdF, GdS, PAEG, PEP, PP14, Glycodelin, Placental protein 14, Pregnancy-associated endometrial alpha-2 globulin, PEG, Progestagen-associated endometrial protein. |
Reagent Appearance |
Sterile Filtered colorless solution. |
Stability |
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. |
