HSCB is expressed in the lung, brain, stomach, spleen, ovary, testis, liver, muscle and heart and localized to mitochondria and cytoplasm. HSCB may function as a co-chaperone in iron-sulfur cluster assembly in mitochondria, it also interacts with ISCU and HSPA9. |
