Protein Background |
FeLV is an RNA virus, a member of the Retroviridae family and Oncovirinae subfamily. FeLV retrovirus infects cats and is transferred from infected cats by saliva or nasal secretions. FeLV causes immunosuppression in domestic cats and larger wild cat populations such as cheetahs and lions and is the cause for a form of cancer of the blood cells called lymphocytes (a leukemia) which can be lethal. |
Expression host |
Escherichia Coli. |

Sterile Filtered clear solution. |
Stability |
FeLV p27 although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles. |
