Description FAIM Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 236 amino acids (1-213aa) and having a molecular mass of 26.4kDa.FAIM is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Protein Background Fas apoptotic inhibitory molecule, also known as FAIM function as an inducible effector molecule which mediates Fas resistance produced by surface Ig engagement in B cells. In addition FAIM protects against death receptor-triggered apoptosis and regulates B-cell signaling and differentiation. Among the diseases associated with FAIM are hemorrhagic thrombocythemia, and food allergy.
