COTL1 Antibody

$193.00

Data sheet

Clone PAT1D6AT.
Applications The antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1000.
Protein Background Coactosin-like protein (COTL1) is one of the numerous actin-binding proteins which regulate the actin cytoskeleton. COTL1 binds F-actin, it also interacts with 5-lipoxygenase, which is the first committed enzyme in leukotriene biosynthesis. COTL1 binds to F-actin in a calcium-independent way and has no direct effect on actin depolymerization.
Synonyms Coactosin-like protein, COTL1, CLP, FLJ43657, MGC19733.
Reagent Appearance Sterile filtered colorless solution.
Type Mouse Anti Human Monoclonal.
Immunogen Anti-human COTL1 mAb, clone PAT1D6AT, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant human COTL1 protein 1-142 amino acids purified from E. coli.
Ig Subclass Mouse IgG2b heavy chain and k light chain.
Purification Method COTL1 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-A affinity chromatography.
Protein formulation 1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, 10% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide.
