Description APOM Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated,polypeptide chain containing 187 amino acids (23-188 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 20.9 kDa. APOM protein is fused to a 21 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by standard chromatography.
Protein Background APOM is belongs to the lipocalin protein family and is associated with high density lipoproteins and to a lesser extent with low density lipoproteins and triglyceride-rich lipoproteins. APOM is secreted through the plasma membrane but remains membrane-bound, where it takes part in lipid transport. .
Expression host Escherichia Coli.
Synonyms G3a, HSPC336, NG20, Apolipoprotein M, APOM, Apo-M, MGC22400.
Reagent Appearance Sterile filtered colorless solution.
