Lck-interacting transmembrane adapter 1 precursor (LIME1) is a transmembrane adaptor protein which is preferentially expressed in hemopoietic cells, mainly T cells. LIME1 mediates TCR-dependent T cell activation, additionally LIME1 becomes tyrosine phosphorylated after cross-linking of the CD4 or CD8 co receptors. The inflammatory bowel disease is associated with LIME1. |
