Applications | Cyclophilin-B antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1,000 ~ 2,000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1,000. |
Protein Background | Cyclophilin B (also known as PPIB, peptidylpropyl isomerase B) is a cyclosporine-binding protein and is mainly located within the endoplasmic reticulum. It is associated with the secretory pathway and released in biological fluids. This protein can bind to cells derived from T- and B-lymphocytes, and may regulate cyclosporine A-mediated immunosuppression. |
Synonyms | Peptidylprolyl isomerase B, PPIase, Rotamase, S-cyclophilin, PPIB, cyclophilin-like protein, peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase B, Cyclophilin B, SCYLP, CYPB, CYP-S1, MGC2224, MGC14109. |
