Applications | WHSC1L1 antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1,000 ~ 3,000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:2,000. |
Protein Background | WHSC1L1 gene is related to the Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome candidate-1 gene and encodes a protein with PWWP (proline-tryptophan-tryptophan-proline) domains. The function of the WHSC1L1 protein has not been determined. WHSC1L1 is highly expressed in brain, heart and skeletal muscle; however it is expressed at lower level in the liver and the lung. |
