Hepatocyte growth factor (HGF), also known as hepatocytes erythropoietin A forming cell mitogenic for a variety of cell types, including endothelial and epithelial cells, melanocytes and keratinocytes. This is identical to scatter factor, fibroblast-derived soluble factors, the promotion of epithelial cells and vascular endothelial cells PACK dissociation colony stimulating cell migration in monolayer culture. As inactive single chain precursor of hepatocyte growth factor secretion and is converted into the active form by the hepatocyte growth factor activator heterodimer. |
| Assay principle |
This Human HGF ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technology. Human HGF specific antibodies were precoated onto 96-well plates. The Human HGF specific detection antibodies were biotinylated. The test samples and biotinylated detection antibodies were added to the wells subsequently and then followed by washing the plate. Streptavidin-HRP was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow color is proportional to the Human HGF amount of sample captured in plate. |
