2. One 96-well plate precoated with anti-human CD36 Ab
3. Sample diluent buffer: 12 mL x 1
4. HRP conjugated anti-Human CD36 Ab: 1 vial, dilution 1:250.
5. Detection Antibody diluent buffer: 12 mL x 1
6. 20 x Wash Solution: 25 ml x 1.
7. TMB color developing agent A: 6 ml.
8. TMB color developing agent B: 6 ml.
9. TMB stop solution: 6ml.
Background
CD36 (Cluster of Differentiation 36) is a member of the class B scavenger receptor family expressed by monocytes, macrophages, platelets, microvascular endothelial cells and adipose tissues. CD36 recognises oxidized low density lipoprotein, long chainfatty acids, anionic phospholipids, collagen types I, IV and V, thrombospondin (TSP) and Plasmodium falciparum infected erythrocytes.
