Human CLEC4D / CLECSF8 ELISA Kit

C-type lectin domain family 4 member D,also known as C-type lectin super family member 8,C-type lectin-like receptor 6,CLEC4D and CLECSF8, is a single-pass type II membrane protein. It is synthesized as a 215 amino acid (aa) protein that contains a 17 aa N-terminal cytoplasmic domain, a 21 aa TM segment, and a 177 aa C-terminal extracellular region. CLECSF8 is expressed on neutrophils and monocytes and can mediate phagocytosis, the respiratory burst and inflammatory cytokine production, in part through association with a novel adaptor. It is expressed weakly in peripheral blood leukocytes, bone marrow and spleen. CLECSF8 is retained intracellularly when expressed in non-myeloid cells. The expression seems to be up regulated by IL-6, IL-10, TNF-alpha and IFN-gamma.
