Description | Polyvalent dengue antigens are 18kDa proteins containing subtype 1,2,3 and 4. They are a new group of antigens specifically designed for ELISA assay. Except common epitopes shared by each subtype, this group of peptides also contains subtype specific epitopes, sometimes OD value peaks at one individual subtype. Dengue infection may miss without including all four subtype antigens. All the recombinant peptides are fused with a 6xHis Tag. Polyvalent dengue is purified by proprietary chromatographic technique. The product is supplied in 4 different vials, 1 for each subtype, when ordering 100ug, you will receive 4x25ug/vial (1 vial/subtype). |
Protein Background | Caused by one of four closely related virus serotypes of the genus Flavivirus, family Flaviviridae, each serotype is sufficiently different that there is no cross-protection and epidemics caused by multiple serotypes (hyperendemicity) can occur. In cell culture experiments and mice Morpholino antisense oligos have shown specific activity against Dengue virus. |
Expression host | Escherichia Coli. |
Reagent Appearance | Sterile filtered colorless solution. |
Stability | Polyvalent dengue Recombinant although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles. |
