2. One 96-well plate precoated with anti-Mouse THSD1 Ab
3. Sample diluent buffer: 12 mL x 1
4. HRP conjugated anti-Mouse THSD1 Ab: 1 vial, dilution 1:1000.
5. Detection Antibody diluent buffer: 12 mL x 1
6. 20 x Wash Solution: 25 ml x 1.
7. TMB color developing agent A: 6 ml.

Background
TMTSP is a single pass, Type I transmembrane receptor that contains 1 thrombospondin-like domain. TMTSP is expressed on primitive hematopoietic stem cells, but to date the function of this protein is unknown. In addition, THSD1 is widely expressed on endothelial cells, with highest expression in the lung. THSD1 may be involved in the regulation of vasculogenesis and/or angiogenesis through its interaction with its specific ligand. THSD1 may also function in primitive hematopoietic cells in the bone marrow niche, and through its TSP1 and Ig-like domains, it may play a role in HSC homing to the niche following cell-to-cell contact to maintain hematopoietic stem cell quiescence.
