Small Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein Polypeptide D1 Human Recombinant ( SNRPD1 Human )

$193.00

Data sheet

Formulation SNRPD1 is supplied in 20mM HEPES buffer pH-7.6, 250mM NaCl and 20% glycerol.
Purity Greater than 80% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Applications Western blot with anti-Sm positive patient sera.
Description SNRPD1 Human Recombinant produced in SF9 is a glycosylated, polypeptide chain having a calculated molecular mass of 14,306 Dalton. SNRPD1 is expressed with a -6x His tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Protein Background SNRPD1 is a small nuclear ribonucleoprotein which is a member of the SNRNP core protein family. SNRPD1 may act as a charged protein scaffold to stimulate SNRNP assembly or strengthen SNRNP-SNRNP interactions via nonspecific electrostatic contacts with RNA. In the autoimmune disease systemic lupus erythematosus, antinuclear antibodies are developed with Sm specificity.
Expression host Sf9 insect cells.
Synonyms Small nuclear ribonucleoprotein Sm D1, Sm-D1, Sm-D autoantigen, snRNP core protein D1, SNRPD1, SMD1, SNRPD, HsT2456.
Reagent Appearance Sterile Filtered clear solution.
Stability Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Immunological functions 1. Binds IgG-type human auto-antibodies.2. Standard ELISA test (checker-board analysis of positive/negative sera panels including CDC international reference sera).
Coating concentration 0.4-0.8 ug/ml (depending on the type of ELISA plate and coating buffer). Suitable for biotinylation and iodination.
