Formulation The NUCB2 protein was lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered concentrated solution in 1PBS, pH 7.4.
Solubility It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized NUCB2 in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Protein Background Nucleobindin-2 (also known as NUCB2 or Nesfatin) is a EF-hand calcium-binding protein. Nucleobindin-2 takes part in calcium homeostasis and is a multifunctional protein that interacts with Ca(2+) nucleic acids & various regulatory proteins in different signaling pathways. NUCB2 (Nesfatin) is localized in neuronal perikarya and dendrites of mouse brain.
Expression host Escherichia Coli.

Upon reconstitution NUCB2 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
