Description SUFU Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 504 amino acids (1-484 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 56.1kDa.SUFU is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Protein Background Suppressor of fused homolog (SUFU) is a member of the SUFU family. SUFU is a negative regulator of the hedgehog signaling pathway. SUFU interacts with GLI1, GLI3 and PEX26. Defects in the SUFU gene are a cause of medulloblastoma.
Expression host Escherichia Coli.
Synonyms Suppressor of fused homolog, SUFUH, SUFU, UNQ650/PRO1280, SUFUXL, PRO1280.
Reagent Appearance Sterile Filtered colorless solution.
Stability Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
