2. One 96-well plate precoated with anti-Human Cadherin-1 Ab.
3. Sample diluent buffer: 12 ml
4. Biotin conjugated anti-Human Cahderin-1 Ab: 1 vial, dilution 1:1500.
5. Detection Antibody diluent buffer: 12ml.
6. Strepavidin-HRP: 1 vial, dilution 1:200.

Background
Cadherin-1, also known as CDH1or epithelial cadherin (E-cadherin) is a classical member of the cadherin superfamily. Cadherins are calcium-dependent cell adhesion proteins. CDH1 is involved in mechanisms regulating cell-cell adhesions, mobility and proliferation of epithelial cells with a potent invasive suppressor role. Loss of function is thought to contribute to progression in cancer by increasing proliferation, invasion, and/or metastasis.
