Data sheet

Formulation HBsAg solution (1mg/ml) containing 7.5mM phosphate buffer pH 7.2, 75mM NaCl and 50% glycerol.
Purity Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Description The Saccharomyces cerevisae derived recombinant full length protein contains the HBV surface antigen, having an Mw of 24kDa (ayw) and is fused to His Tag at C-terminus.
Protein Background HBsAg is the surface antigen of the Hepatitis-B-Virus (HBV). The capsid of a virus has different surface proteins from the rest of the virus. The antigen is a protein that binds specifically on one of these surface proteins. It is commonly referred to as the Australian Antigen.Recombinant HbsAg ayw full length is a 24kDa protein cloned from HBV 320 genome.
Expression host Saccharomyces cerevisae.
Reagent Appearance Sterile Filtered clear solution.
Stability HBsAg although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.
