Description | MCP4 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 96 amino acids (24-98) and having a molecular mass of 10.8 kDa. The MCP-4 is fused to 21 amino acids His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. |
Protein Background | CCL13 chemokine is part of the CC chemokine family (TARC). CCL13 protein induces chemotaxis in monocytes, eosinophils, T lymphocytes, and basophils by binding cell surface G-protein linked chemokine receptors such as CCR2, CCR3 and CCR5. CCL13 is induced by the inflammatory cytokines IL1 & TNFA. |
