Description | NUDT9 produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 325 amino acids (47-350 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 36.5kDa (molecular weight on SDS-PAGE will appear higher).NUDT9 is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. |
Protein Background | NUDT9 is a member of a superfamily of Nudix hydrolases. NUDT9 functions as a highly specific adenosine diphosphate ribose pyrophosphatase which hydrolyzes ADP ribose to AMP and ribose 5'-phosphate. In addition, NUDT9 may be involved in the regulation of the menstrual cycle and may be related to the proliferation of glandular cells in the human endometrium. |
Expression host | Escherichia Coli. |
Synonyms | ADP-ribose pyrophosphatase mitochondrial, ADP-ribose diphosphatase, ADP-ribose phosphohydrolase, Adenosine diphosphoribose pyrophosphatase, ADPR-PPase, Nucleoside diphosphate-linked moiety X motif 9, Nudix motif 9, NUDT9, NUDT10, PSEC0099, UNQ3012/PRO9771. |
