Clone |
PAT33F5AT. |
Applications |
The antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1000. |
Protein Background |
Stomatin (STOM) is a part of a highly conserved family of integral membrane proteins. STOM is a membrane protein involved in regulation of monovalent cation transport through lipid membranes which regulates ACCN1 and ACCN3 gating. STOM is a major lipid-raft component of erythrocytes and epithelial cells, and an abundant platelet protein which acts as a cytoskeletal anchor. |
