Background |
Induction of costimulatory molecule (ICOS), also known as AILIM (activation inducible lymphocyte immunomediatory molecule) and CRP-1 (CD28-related protein-1), immune costimulatory receptor growing CD28, a member of the family. Other family members CD28, CTLA-4 and PD-1. Human and mouse ICOS share about 72% amino acid sequence identity. ICOS expression in most CD45RO + cells. The ICOS ligand B7-H2, the members of the B7 family of costimulatory ligands have been identified. |
Assay principle |
This Human ICOS ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technology. Human ICOS specific antibodies were precoated onto 96-well plates. The Human ICOS specific detection antibodies were biotinylated. The test samples and biotinylated detection antibodies were added to the wells subsequently and then followed by washing the plate. Streptavidin-HRP was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow color is proportional to the Human ICOS amount of sample captured in plate. |
