Clone | P4H5AT. |
Applications | REXO1 antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1,000 ~ 2,000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1,000. |
Protein Background | REXO1 is an exonuclease domain-containing protein which binds to Elongin. The Elongin complex stimulates the rate of transcription elongation by RNA polymerase II by suppressing the transient pausing of the polymerase at many sites along the DNA template. REXO1 is composed of 1221 amino acids and its mRNA is ubiquitously expressed. REXO1 is a putative stem cell marker and is highly expressed in embryonic and adult stem cells. |
Synonyms | RNA exonuclease 1 homolog, Elongin-A-binding protein 1, Transcription elongation factor B polypeptide 3-binding protein 1, EloA-BP1, REXO1, ELOABP1, KIAA1138, TCEB3BP1, REX1. |
